First School Visit!

I was so glad to take “Bubbles the Dwarf Zebu” to Little Flower School on Friday! The kids were great and I had so much fun reading them the story. 

The post-reading questions were great. Some highlights: “What kind of shifts do you work at the Zoo?” (7-4!), “Do you always have to work weekends?” (Yep!) and “Do you get breaks at work?” (Yes, again!). These kids really wanted all the info before even considering a zoo career! Really though, the Little Flower students were very interested in animal training, safe animal management and the development of a book. 

I hope the kids enjoyed an afternoon of animal facts and zebu storytelling as much as I did!
